- [Instructor] Azure Advisor is your digital assistant advising you on how to optimize your solutions. The advice is based on resource configuration and usage. The aim is to improve reliability, security, and performance, and the advice comes in the form of proactive and actionable recommendations. The recommendations are divided into five categories: Cost, Security, Reliability, Operational Excellence, and Performance. Let's see how Azure Advisor works. I'm logged into the Azure portal in my browser. We're on the home screen. Let's search for advisor, and let's open the Advisor Service. The Overview page summarizes each category for all subscriptions, including a score. The results can be filtered to show, for example, only the Pay-As-You-Go subscription. We can do that here. Hit Apply, and there we go. Let's add in the other subscription again. We can also filter by Resource Group, Resource Type, or other factors.
