- [Instructor] Cost analysis is the first step in the Azure portal to help you understand what your organization is spending money on. Cost analysis is directly available from within cost management, where you want to analyze the cost of either a single or multiple management groups and subscriptions at the same time. If you're just interested in the cost of a single management group, subscription or resource group, then cost analysis is also directly available there. Let's look at cost analysis. I'm logged into the Azure portal in my browser and we're on the home screen. Let's search for cost. And open the cost analysis service. Cost analysis is part of the cost management service, which provides more features than cost analysis alone. We can change the scope here at the top. We currently scope to the highest level, the Tenant Root Group. Let's click change to make the scope blade appear. We can adjust the scope to another management group, subscription or resource group.
