Capacity reservation
- [Instructor] Azure has limited capacity, so in-demand regions can run out of resources which may impact your workload's availability. This is where capacity reservations come in. On-demand capacity reservations as you reserve compute capacity in an Azure region or availability zone. A capacity reservation is created for a specific virtual machine size. Unlike Azure Reservations, you don't have to commit to a one or three-year term. You can create and delete capacity reservations instantly at any time. Capacity reservations don't come with a discount and are charged at pay-as-you-go rates. Combining capacity with Azure Reservations saves cost and ensures the needed workload capacity. Let's create an on-demand capacity reservation. I'm logged into the Azure portal in my browser and we're on the home screen. Let's search for capacity. And open the capacity reservation group's service. Let's click on Create. So we are using the pay-as-you-go subscription. Let's create a new resource…
