- [Tutor] Next, let's dive a little bit deeper into the OCR Service that is part of Azure AI Vision Services. The OCR Service will allow you to extract text from images that may contain printed or handwritten content. Do you have a lot of receipts from the past and you wish to be able to search through them? Well, images are hard to search through, but what if you could extract text out of them and then search through them? Those are the scenarios that are enabled via the OCR Service. So what is the OCR Service? Well, it is available either as an in-cloud service that is an API hosted by Azure, or as an on-premises container, so you can operate this on the Edge. It supports many languages for both printed or handwritten text. The link at the bottom of the screen you see here, is a list of languages that OCR Service supports.
