Delete Global Accelerator

- [Instructor] Now that we've explored global accelerators and how they work, let's clean up after ourselves to ensure that we don't incur any ongoing charges. From the global accelerator dashboard, the first thing I need to do is select my global accelerator. Then I go ahead and click the delete button. However, since this global accelerator is currently serving traffic, I first need to disable it prior to deleting the accelerator. Note that you get a warning indicating that the static IP addresses provided by AWS assigned to this accelerator will be lost. It's kind of like replacing the public IP on an EC2 server with an elastic IP. You can't get it back. Since that's okay, and I do in fact want to delete the accelerator, I go ahead and click the disable accelerator button. Note that this can take up to five minutes.
