Configure Route 53 DNS
- [Instructor] Route 53 is the AWS service for DNS and traffic management. Let's look at some of its most basic DNS features and try and register a domain name. Here I am at the main AWS Console. The first thing I need to do is navigate to the Route 53 configuration screen. To find Route 53, I simply start typing Route 53 in the Find Services box and click the link that appears. If you have never done anything in Route 53 before, you will see a screen that looks just like this. You see the four main options, including DNS management, traffic management, availability monitoring, and domain registration. In this case, I want to look at domain registration options. So, I click the blue Get Started Now button. If you have ever registered a domain before, this flow will feel pretty familiar.
