In this chapter, we've explored several management and governance tools. Now let's talk about the best practices to use them effectively every day. The first best practice is about AWS organizations. Organize your accounts based on security and policy needs using OUs, such as security, workloads and infrastructure. Avoid mirroring the departments in your organization. Reserve the management accounts strictly for billing and governance purposes. Use service control policies for non-negotiable organization-wide controls.
