Centralizing security with AWS Security Hub
- [Instructor] Alert fatigue is a common problem when working with multiple tools. Managing alerts from different tools and consoles is inefficient. AWS Security Hub is the command center that solves this by normalizing and prioritizing all security findings into one central dashboard. When you search for Security Hub, you will notice two results. Security Hub CSPM, or Cloud Security Posture Management, evaluates your cloud environment against security standards and best practices. Security Hub is the aggregator. It pulls findings from the CSPM engine and other security tools and centralizes them. AWS recommends enabling both services. When you enable Security Hub CSPM, you can choose the security standards to activate in your account. By default, the AWS Foundational Security Best Practices, and CIS AWS Foundation's Benchmark are enabled. These checks are now running across your account, calculating your security…
