About using cloud services

- [Tutor] As we get started learning about cloud service class control, I want to just to have special attention called out to the fact that cloud services cost money. So even though some services do have a free tier, and you can try them without cost, most of the services are going to have a per-time-used or a service-level-used cost. So you will be working with various services throughout this course if you're spinning up services and following along with me. Please be sure to only use those services at the cost levels that are going to be appropriate for your particular use case. And when you're done studying and learning, remember to turn off and or delete those services, in particular, the ones that incur a lot of costs that I see people get in trouble with, our EC2 instances and databases such as RDS. So it's very, very important you don't want to get any surprise bills. And this course is actually on AWS cloud cost control so it's especially important to do that in this particular course.
