- [Instructor] Let's dive into AWS Systems Manager Run Command, a feature that enables remote execution of commands on managed instances at scale, using predefined or custom command documents. In this guide, we'll explore the AWS Systems Manager Run Command console, where you can use predefined command documents, or create your own to execute operations across your managed instances. First, log into the AWS console home, in the search bar at the top, type "Systems Manager." Click on Systems Manager from the search results, and you'll be taken to its console, where you'll see a brief overview of the service. AWS Systems Manager is a central interface for operational visibility and control across AWS resources. On the left side of the screen, there's a sidebar where you can navigate the systems manager's operational tools and management utilities. For this demo click Run Command.
