- [Instructor] Hi. In this lab, I'll walk you through the steps in creating an EFS file system storage. The goal is to create an EFS file system and understand which configurations you can set when creating one. So let's dive into it. First, let's log into the AWS Management Console and navigate to the EFS Management Console. From here, click, Create file system. You'll be prompted with a pop-up that shows you the minimum configurations you have to set, like the name of the file system, the VPC, and the availability and durability setting, where you can choose a Regional or a One Zone type. But I want to show you the different configurations that you can set when creating EFS, and not just the minimum configuration settings. To do that, let's click, Customize. So now you can see that you can configure file system settings, network access, and the file system policy. Let's start configuring the file system settings. First, let's provide a name.
