- [Instructor] In this video, we'll talk about how CloudTrail integrates with other services. Just a quick recap, AWS CloudTrail allows you to capture activities in an AWS account. You can view these activities through the event history in CloudTrail console or you can create trails since CloudTrail does not log all events in your account by default and you might find yourself looking to trace activities that are of high value for your organization. Now, let's talk about how CloudTrail integrates with other services. When you create a trail in CloudTrail console, that trail logs events in all regions by default. You can also log activities per single region but logging events in all regions in your account is a recommended best practice. All the logs collected for a trail are logged in a destination S3 bucket that you declare. Now, when you create trails, you need to define the type of event for the trail.
