Section 3 - Introduction

In this section, we're going to look at the AWS Identity and Access Management service. Now Identity and Access Management is covered in quite a bit of depth in this course and on the exam. We're first going into the fundamentals of IAM. So we're going to look at users, groups, roles, policies, and setting up multi-factor authentication and other security measures. In the next section, we're then going to go into a bit more detail on access control with with IAM, we're going to look at role-based access control and attribute-based access control, permissions, boundaries, and much more. And there'll be quite a lot of fun hands-on in that section as well. After that, we then go into organizations and control tower, two services that we can use for governance and security across our accounts.
