Hi guys, AWS Service Catalog is definitely a service that comes up quite a bit on the Solutions Architect Professional exam. So let's have a look at what it is. Service Catalog allows you to create and manage catalogs of IT services that are approved for use on AWS. So that can include anything from VMs, servers, software, databases, all that stuff, right? pretty much that you can define in a cloud formation template. So it allows you to centrally manage the commonly deployed IT services and then users can access them. So you can then approve certain services for users and users can then go and consume those applications and have them built when they deploy them. So let's have a look visually at what it looks like. We've got our admin here who's creating a service catalog. You can then create a product within the service catalog and the product can then include versions.
