Trusted Advisor inspects the environment you build in AWS and then makes automated recommendations when opportunities exist for you to save on money, improve system availability and performance of your environment, and ultimately help you close security gaps. To put it simply, think of Trusted Advisor as an automated checklist of optimization insights for your environment to follow best practices in AWS. So how does it work? First, Trusted Advisor scans your AWS infrastructure, comparing and evaluating your environment against best practices by performing checks.
