In this video, we're going to talk about the AWS Direct Connect Resiliency Toolkit, a helpful feature that makes your network connection between your data center and AWS more reliable and highly available. Before we talk about the toolkit, let's quickly review what AWS Direct Connect is. Normally, your on-premises network connects to AWS through the public internet. But internet routes can sometimes be slow or unpredictable. AWS Direct Connect gives you a dedicated private network connection to AWS, giving you lower latency, more consistent performance, and better security. In short, Direct Connect is like having your own private highway to AWS. No traffic, no congestion. But what happens if that private connection fails.
