- [Instructor] For creating a rule with the Web Application Firewall service, we have to define where we want the rule to actually be applied. We have a couple of services that support the Web Application Firewall. Let's go into EC2 instances and look at the Load Balancer that we're going to use and create a rule for. Into EC2 instances, and scrolling down, under load balancing, selecting Load Balancers. We can see that there is a Load Balancer, and the Load Balancer is in the Oregon region. We can see the region in the top right-hand corner. Let's go back to services, and into the Web Application Firewall console. I'll have to scroll down, and under security and compliance, we find WAF and Shield. We want to create a rule for the WAF, so let's go to the AWS WAF. Now let's create a Web ACL.
