- Now that you have a good understanding of DataGovOps and the considerable value it can bring to your organization, it's time to think about how it can be implemented. I'm going to make an assumption here that your business already has some data governance in place. It may be minimal, or you might have a sophisticated framework deployed. I remember early in my career, a former manager sharing that you can't automate something that isn't already manual. I think that's good advice here. If a data governance strategy doesn't yet exist, creating one is your best starting point. I also recommend checking out my Learning Data Governance course to learn more about this. So with data governance in place, let's begin with an assessment of where opportunities for automation, integration, and collaboration exist.
