Opening a P&ID drawing file
- [Instructor] Traditional methods of opening an AutoCAD drawing do not apply when using AutoCAD P90. I'm going to show you the correct way to open a drawing file from within the AutoCAD P90 project environment. Once you have your project open, we're going to navigate to our P90s, and you'll notice these are all located in the project manager window on the left hand side of your screen. There's three tabs on here, you'll see an isometric drawing, an orthographic, and source files. P90s are always located in the source files, so make sure that's your current tab, and you'll see the P90 drawings in that heading. If we expand this, we'll have a look and see the actual drawings are listed here. So, to open one drawing you can either double click, or you could right click and open from the fly-out menu. So, I'm going to double click this. Now, you'll see this drawing checker, what this does, it runs through validation to make sure that all the symbols in your drawing are actually located…
