- [Female Narrator] One of the advantages of using an intelligent P&ID progam, is that we can control the location of the drawing files better than we could using regular AutoCAD because the drafters and designers could create the files wherever they wanted. This made it difficult as an administrator to know if you were seeing the latest version of the drawing. With a project based system, you the administrator, can control where the drawings are created. So, let's take a look at Project Manager and look at these Project Paths. So, go into our properties, and the paths are found here. So, under the P&ID drawing settings and paths if we look over on the right you can see the three key paths that we need when we're working with P&ID's. The first one is the P&ID drawing directory, by default this is set up with your project under P&ID DWG, but we can actually path that to another location either inside your project, or outside your project, depending on how your network's set up.
