Set layers, fonts, and linetypes

- [Instructor] Once you've set your path to the approved project template, we can go in and set up the text styles, fonts, layers, colors, everything that you need as per your client drafting standards. This is set up just using standard AutoCAD functionality. So what we're going to do is we're going to open the Template File. So, we're going to go into the file itself, and we're not going to open any of the drawings that we've created. So we're going to go up to the top here. And we're just going to open. And make sure down here you've got your DWT file set as your file type. Notice it defaults to the Template Folder on your C Drive. Make sure you navigate back out into your project. And let's go ahead and open the drawing template file that we've customized for this project. So now that we're in here, just double check that you're actually working in the template file by taking a look at the top here. And let's take a look at Settings now.
