Drawing properties vs. project properties
- [Narrator] Since our project data is stored in two locations, we have to understand the difference between project properties and drawing properties, and where to find and modify each. Let's take a look. Let's come up to project manager and open project setup and look at the project details. There's a few things that we can set up, here. One thing is the project description. We can change what we want to call this and we can add a project number. I'm just going to call this 123ABC. So, each of these fields that we have, it generates a data field that we can insert into our title blocks. So, every project in this series that's in this chapter, we can have that project number applied automatically and it'll populate title blocks without us having to go and do this manually. If you want to change that and we just want to make this 123A you simply make the change here and the change is reflected throughout all the drawings automatically.
