Configuring BOM, parts list, and balloons
- [Instructor] In the previous video, we talked about how we could configure our annotation in our AutoCAD mechanical tool set and we went into things like the standards and what we could edit in the standards and so on. Now we're in a new drawing and we're going to talk about how we can configure our bill of materials are BOM and the drawing is called configure_BOM.dwg. You know the drill by now. Download it from the library to follow along with the video. Again, like we did in the previous drawing in the previous video, make sure you're in the Layout1 tab for the moment. Now when you're in the Layout1 tab, you can see that all the balloons have been placed. We've got our parts list here, which comes off of our bill of materials in our drawing. Now, in order to manage our bill of materials, if I go up to annotate here on the ribbon, there's our BOM panel and I can place a bill of materials, I can add part references,…
