Inserting blocks

- We're staying in our usingblocks.dwg file and what we're going to have a look at now is how we insert blocks into an autocad drawing. Now, in this particular video, we're gonna look at inserting blocks that are already in the drawing. Now you'll notice, we're in the usingblocks.dwg file and there's already blocks in the drawing. That means they're stored in the database that sits behind the drawing. So you can always insert these blocks that you can see on the screen no problem at all. There are other methods though of externally inserting blocks into your drawing as well. So we'll cover those in the next few videos after we've done this one. We've got some blocks there already and there's two ways on the ribbon of inserting the blocks into your autocadLT drawings. You can go to the block panel here and that's on the home tab on the ribbon and you click on this flyout here and you see that you've got the insert block command there and there's the blocks that you can insert.
