Views

- [Instructor] Views are an easy way of remembering and storing different displays of your drawing. This includes both the zoom and pan location of your screen, as well as other important and useful things like the current layer state. Using this method, you can save a view of one corner of the project and then quickly move to another area that may be hundreds of feet away. This saves us a lot of zooming and panning around our drawing. By saving what is known as the layer snapshot, you can also save the current on and off or frozen in thought state of all of the layers in your drawing as well. This means I can have a view for one room with all the layers I would need for demolition turned on, and then save another view of another room in the complex, with just the layers needed for new framing. To save a view, you'll find the new view command here in the toolbar, or you can type in newview down in the command line, all one word. From here, you can name your view and then choose…
