Exporting projects to spreadsheets
- [Instructor] In the next couple of videos, we're going to look at how we export and import AutoCAD electrical tool set data to a spreadsheet or other applications for that matter. So we're going to stay in our demo 02.dwg file in the WD demo project. I'm then going to go to the import export data tab on the ribbon. Now you'll notice that I can export and import data from various applications. So you'll notice I can export out to things like Autodesk Inventor, I can export out to Unity Pro, Wago, and Phoenix Contact as well. I'm going to export out to a good old Excel spreadsheet, like so. And all I'm going to export to the spreadsheet is components. So I'm going to click on OK like so. Now I'm going to do a data export for this drawing only. So make sure you select active drawing. Otherwise you'll end up with a very, very big spreadsheet and we're going to go for Excel file format XLS, location codes just leaves…
