Copying components
- [Narrator] Once again, we're back in our demo, 04.DWG file, back with our re numbered LS406 based on the tools we were using when we were moving components in the previous video. Now, what we're going to take a look at is copying components. Now the workflow is very similar, but as I must stress, don't jump over to the Home tab on the ribbon and go to Copy here in the Modify panel. You need to be in the Schematic tab here in the Edit Components panel. And you'll see there's a little command right there and it's Copy Component. Really important that you use Copy Component. So I click on Copy Component there, like so, and that'll prompt me to select the component to copy, or if I hit escape a couple of times and I hover over, say LS998 that we updated earlier and I right click, you'll notice I can also copy the component off the Marking Menu.
