- [Instructor] As usual, we're staying in the demo04.dwg file in the wd demo project. And what we're going to look at this time is aligning component in AutoCAD Electrical drawings. Now when I look at this drawing at the moment, that LS1000 top left is really, really playing on my OCD. It's not aligned with the 407 and the 408 on the left hand side of the drawing. So what we want to do is align it with the 407 or the 408 on the left hand side there. And it's very quick and easy to do, because you can do this in two ways. You can do this off of the edit components panel on the schematic tab on the ribbon. If I go here on this file, you'll see that align is there, like so. So when I select align there, the little pic box and the prompt on the command line are telling me to select the component to align with, and I can swap between horizontal and vertical as well, if I want to, you'll notice that on the command line by typing H or V and pressing enter.
