- [Instructor] So here's what you should know before you take this particular course. Ideally, you should know your basics of AutoCAD from the Learning AutoCAD course available in the library. Ideally, you should know AutoCAD in a bit more depth as well using the AutoCAD Essential Training course in the library for any particular version of AutoCAD too. You should also know, and have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD commands and methodologies. In this particular course, we'll be using commands and methodologies that have been taught in the two courses you can see on the slide. Ideally, you should know and have a good working knowledge of mechanical drafting as well, because we will be looking into tools and methodologies in AutoCAD that work in conjunction with mechanical drafting. This course is ideal for all intermediate and advanced AutoCAD users, so what you should know is a good basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.
