Working with table styles in your AutoCAD drawings

- [Instructor] We've had a look at attributes with blocks. We're now going to take a look at tables in a bit more depth. For that, we've got a new drawing for you, it's called Simple Objects.dwg, and it is exactly that. It is a drawing that contains three simple objects. They are a rectangle, a circle, and a hexagon. Now what we're going to do, we're going to create a slightly more advanced table style to use with these three shapes, and you'll see where we're going with this as we work through the next few videos. So we're in the home tab on the ribbon, just make sure that you have the tables layer current, because we'll be placing our table obviously on the tables layer. And I'm just going to pop here to the annotation flyout and select table style there on the little pop out there. That'll open up the table style dialogue box, and we're going to click on new. Now, the new style is going to be called shape areas like so, and we're going to start with standard, it's the only one…
