Using the Traces palette on the AutoCAD desktop to collaborate on drawings
- [Instructor] So we're back now in our desktop version of AutoCAD, and what I've done is I've gone up to the quick access toolbar and clicked here on Open from Web and Mobile, and it's brought up the Open from AutoCAD Web and Mobile dialogue box. If I now scroll down and find my drawing again, remember I've got lots of stuff in there. So we'll go down and we should be able to find it soon. There it is there. There's our cloud drawing and I'm going to click on it and open it as I would normally. So that'll take a few seconds to load up. And there's our drawing again. Now if I go to the collaborate tab, you'll notice we have a traces palette. If I click on that, you'll notice that it's found that restrooms trace. If I click on it, there's my dimension's text, there's my revision cloud. So this allows you to collaborate. It's really clever stuff. So you could be out on site, editing a drawing using AutoCAD Web or AutoCAD Mobile, and you can be sending this information back to somebody…
