Using Dynamic Input (DYNMODE) for quicker input in AutoCAD

- [Instructor] We're staying in the interface.DWG file, and we're going to take a look in this video at what they call dynamic input, known as dyn mode, D-Y-N M-O-D-E. Now, dynamic input has been around for some time in AutoCAD now, and it's incredibly useful. You'll notice on the left hand side of the drawing area, you can see the AutoCAD cross hair. If I move the mouse, the cross hair moves around. That is my user interface between my mouse, obviously, and AutoCAD. That is the cross hair there, and when I move over the commands on the ribbon, it turns to an arrow. Now one of the things that appears next to that cross hair is the dynamic input that you're putting into AutoCAD. Now I'm going to hit escape a couple of times to make sure I've got no commands running. So you'll notice there, can you see the cancel pops up down on the command line, down at the bottom of the screen. I'm now going to start typing. So if I type L-I-N-E, you'll notice the dynamic input goes, "Ah, you're…
