Designing a table

Designing a table

We're staying in our simpleobjects.dwg file and in the previous video we created a table style that we're going to use in this drawing. Now what we're going to do in this video is design our table so that we've got the appropriate number of cells for what we want to show with our table annotation in our drawing. Now I've got the style already in place I can click here on the annotation flyout layout and you can see that we've got shape areas is our table style we've only got two we've got shape areas and standard make sure you've got shape areas set as your current table style now the nice thing is in the home tab on the ribbon I can go to the annotation panel and click on table and start the table command there make sure you're using the tables layer to put your table on the tables layer I'm going to click on the table command and that will open up the insert table dialog box. Notice the table style is listed there. We're going to start from an empty table. We don't need a data link…
