- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take a look at approaching power on and off sounds. Now, as I mentioned in the last movie, these can be very different from some of the other sounds in our sound set in terms of approach, because a power on is going to be, kind of like, a greeting, or maybe the first time you're interacting with the device, and then power off is potentially the last time you're interacting with the device for a while. So that's kind of a good-bye. So, let's go back into our template, and just take a look at ways we might approach this. So another thing to point out that you might see in a creative brief, especially if you're working with a bigger company, is they might already have their own sonic branding established, and, this would be a time, usually, on the device on or power down sound, that this sonic branding would come into play, and this might be already dictated as the greeting, rather than something that you're creating from scratch.
