- [Instructor] All right, let's talk about walls. So walls can be found in the toolbox, and under design we have walls. So if I click on this and if I click on this little arrow again, Archicad or Graphisoft has provided some basic walls, give you an idea of the different compositions that you can use. But let's go in and double click on wall tool itself. And let's look at some of the settings that come with it. Walls can extend or can be linked to different stories. And what that means is that I can create a wall that the bottom of the wall is linked to the first floor and then the top of the wall is linked to the third or the roof or something of that nature. And if I'm going through the design process and I make a change to my stories, the elevation of each of the stories changes from like 10 feet floor to floor to 11 feet, because they're connected the wall will automatically adjust with that change.
