Blockwork drawings

- [Voiceover] In ARCHICAD you can also filter the structure of the elements. For instance, if I change here from entire model to core only, you will see that ARCHICAD will hide all the finishes and all the others and keep only what is core from my walls and in the 3D, you will see that this filter will do the same. So if I change it from entire model to core only, ARCHICAD will keep only what is core. I'm also going to change here for the layer combination 0501 so we don't have some missing beams there and that's how we do a block work plan. We basically change the filter here to core only. I have created before a layer combination for the block work where I hide all the other elements but walls and slabs and I'm going to change the model view options here to the block work plan that we have created before. Now we have a simple plan here for us to start dimensioning, inputting details. So I'm going to create here some dimensions. I'm not going go too much into detail. I just want to show you that when you change back to the entire model in the filter, all the others dimensions will come back but that one that we created disappear. So you see if I go back to core only, my dimension is back. So don't worry about messing up the model when you're dimensioning the block work. Those dimension only stay here on the block work so now I can go to my view maps, create a new folder called block work plans and save all those plans as a new views and then I'm going to rename here. Ground floor block work and I'm going to do the same for all the other floors and that's how you create block work plans in ARCHICAD.
