How computer animation works in five minutes
- [Instructor] All 3D animation software is made up of a few essential tools. First and foremost is the viewport. This is where all action will take place. Like 3D characters, the 3D environments. It'll all happen right here. You can navigate around and manipulate objects easily inside the viewport. In order to manipulate those objects, you'll need tools. And often they're on the left or at the top. They will allow you to do a few basic moves, move, rotate, and scale. Almost all 3D animation comes from just these three simple tools. At the top you'll see a shelf or a collection of more advanced tools and sub menus. Sometimes you'll even see a layout that'll let you tailor your different mode to creating different kinds of 3D animation. At the bottom is our information bar.
