- Our last stop in career paths is the exciting world of simulation. This career path is incredibly deep and admittedly the most technical out of all of them, but has an incredible real-world application. For example, here we use simulation to understand the movement of oil going through piping. Different properties like viscosity let you accurately create a precise animation, but that's not all simulation can also be used to find the impact of say a tree branch hitting glass. For the more serious analysts out there, the SolidWorks Software Suite allows you to analyze and simulate real-world scenarios. Now unlike most career paths that we've talked about, the simulation artists tends to have a stable longer term job that's because their projects will span years and often once you find a good SIM artist, you tend to hang on to them.
