Dispersing layers in 3D space
- [Instructor] My plan is to create a dolly out camera animation that reveals each layer one by one until we reach the final design. The challenge is to maintain the original look while converting each layer to 3D and adjusting their positions in 3D space. Let me demonstrate the issue. If I'll convert all layers to 3D and then adjust the Z position for one of them, the appearance changes. To compensate, I need to scale the layer appropriately, but without a reference. This can be difficult, so I'll need to reimport the merged file and do an AB comparison, which is time consuming, especially with many layers. To solve this, I included a free script with the exercise files. First, I'll undo any changes to return all layers to 2D. Alternatively, you can also revert the project. Then I'll go to file, script, run script file. I'll navigate to the exercise files folder and open the one click parallax script. This script has a simple interface. You can explore additional options if you like,…
