- [Instructor] This is the Google Doc app, which comes on all Androids. And this is the onscreen keyboard. When your phone or tablet demands that you type some text, up pops this keyboard for your typing tasks. If you desire more typing room, you can reorient the Android horizontally and the keyboard adjusts itself wider, though on a phone, the keyboard may obscure most of your text. Anyway, I'm going to type a grocery list, which is something I keep on my own phone. Start with a title. As you type, the predictive text feature generates word suggestions. To type faster, tap a suggestion. And you tap the Shift key for a capital letter. Here you see that shopping is already chosen. Grocery shopping, there's my title. Tap the Enter key for a new line.
