Sharing the mobile data connection

- [Narrator] When the internet goes down at home or the office, you can still access services through your Android's mobile data connection. I do this often during a power outage. The two methods are a direct connection, say between the phone and a computer, and a Wi-Fi hotspot which creates a Wi-Fi network using your Android as a hub. For either method to work, you must first disable the Android's Wi-Fi radio. The quick way to do that is using the Quick settings. Swipe down the screen. On some devices, a Wi-Fi setting appears directly. On this one, I choose Internet and then disable the Wi-Fi here. This step is necessary because it doesn't really make sense for the device to provide Wi-Fi access when it's already available.
