- [Presenter] On this home screen page, you see the calendar widget. It gives me a preview of my schedule at a glance. Handier than using the calendar app. Like a launcher, you can move a widget. Long press, and drag. This widget can also be resized. See the handles along each edge? Drag one to increase, or decrease, the size of the widget. Tap elsewhere to save the widget. To add a widget, first ensure that there's room for it. Some widgets like this calendar widget are rather large. Long press a blank part of the home screen. And choose the widget's item. Unlike launchers, widgets come in a variety of sizes, which you can see by the widget name. A one by one widget occupies the same home screen real estate space as a launcher. This clock widget occupies three by two launcher icon spaces. Swipe the screen to browse the various widgets. Some of these come with android, but many are also associated with specific apps.…
