- [Host] Okay, so let's match up our process to the ERP's digital architecture. In the previous video, we looked at a TV order. The order came in, the customer got the TV. The money flowed through the supply chain. Simple and neat. But the process we've discussed is more complex. Let's walk through our process. The customer places the order online. We take the TV out of inventory and it's assigned to a truck driver. The TV is delivered and the driver uses tools and materials to install the TV. The installation will be judged a success or failure. That seems like a fairly detailed account, but wait, what's missing? Money. Don't forget the money. We'll need revenue data and cost data for labor, parts, fuel, and tools. Just like in the previous video, we now have an illustration that helps us see how resources, data, and money flow through our business. Look at that picture.
