- [Instructor] Let's now talk about the AWS Free Tier. The AWS free tier provides free hands-on experience to certain AWS services, such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and others. For new users, this can be useful, as you can try certain services without being charged. All brand-new AWS accounts have access to the free tier. To create a new free tier account, go to aws.amazon.com/free. Once you're here, you can see the different types of offers available with the free tier. For example, there are some AWS services that are available as short-term free trials. Some services are available for free for the first 12 months, and some services are always free and you can see these by scrolling down. For example, if you are a new AWS user, you get 750 hours of EC2 per month for free for the first 12 months. You also get 5G of storage on Amazon S3 for free for the first 12 months.
