Codex

Codex

- Developers have spent decades learning to think like machines. Speaking in binary, hexadecimal, Assembly, and later C, JavaScript, and Python, we studied syntax, mastered edge cases, and structured ideas in a way that made sense to compilers, not people. The thing is, we were never supposed to be the computer. That era made us more efficient, but it didn't make us happier. Arguing about semicolons, indentation, recursion, or watching videos on sorting algorithms, mechanics became the goal, and we sort of liked it that way. But today, agentic tools can respond to intent in natural language. We're teaching machines to understand us instead of making humans think like machines. With tools like OpenAI's Codex, developers are stepping into a role that's more creative, more strategic, and frankly, more human.
