Let's explore the another pillar of AI RAN vision, which is AI and RAN. It focuses on something deeper, which is running both RAN and AI workloads on the same shared infrastructure. And this convergence fundamentally changes how networks are built, deployed and monetized. So what exactly is AI and RAN? It refers to the co-location and co-execution of RAN functions and AI workloads, which is happening on the common converged compute platforms such as AI accelerated servers, which are equipped with GPUs, NPUs or specialized accelerators. So instead of deploying one infrastructure for RAN and separate for AI, both workloads share the same physical and virtual resources which are being managed through cloud native orchestration.
