- The second part of risk analysis is to make some plans about what to do about the risks that we've identified. How can we make them less likely to happen or less serious, if they do happen? For example, you can't stop bad weather happening, but you can prepare for it, so the effects aren't as bad. Now, you might think that AI would struggle a bit to come up with mitigation plans, but it's actually surprisingly good at it. Dave, let's try it on our list of risks and see how good it is. - Yeah, I think ChatGPT will give us some pretty good results here, but I also recommend that you invite the input of your wider team, because their experience is going to be invaluable here, and you don't want them to feel as if they've been marginalized by the AI. The AI may give you a faster response than any of the human members in your team can, but don't confuse that with a better response.
