How AI helps with the project management process
- When I'm teaching people how to plan a project, I use a 12 step process. And Dave and I have identified six places in this process where AI works particularly easily and well. My feeling is that at stage one, project definition, AI can't do it, but it can help you to be systematic. So when you are defining the constraints, and thinking about the stakeholders and then making sure that everyone agrees the plan, it will help you to do these things thoroughly. Then for the second step, which is getting a list of all of the tasks, AI is brilliant and we'll show you that in action in a minute. Step three is also an AI strong point, estimating time and costs. So we'll show you that as well. Steps four, five, and six where you find the critical path and then you draw it out as a Gantt chart.
