- [Instructor] I've shared some quotes from the titans of tech and AI on what happens when governance is missing. In this video, we will consider some of the complexities that the governing body must be aware of when introducing AI into their business. Ultimately, governance in for-profit organizations is focused on delivering value for the organization and its stakeholders, typically in the form of revenue. Various layers of management develop strategies based on governance principles informed by the mission and vision. These strategies are transformed into goals and objectives that should be measurable to determine desired performance levels. So the objective for a not-for-profit or for a civil service organization could be based upon goals that are not based upon developing revenues, but more about helping people get to a different quality in their life.
