How AI systems differ from other IT: Part 2 (Clauses 5.2-5.2.3)
- [Narrator] History records epical changes in how we do things like replacing candlelight with a light bulb or using a motorized vehicle instead of a horse and carriage. And now, we have AI instead of traditional technology, which is a large sea change. In this video, I will share how ISO 38507 explores three ways in which AI systems differ from traditional IT systems. It's in the decision automation, data-driven problem solving, and adaptive systems. With decision automation, this is basically driven by assigning weights of importance to current and historical information. AI systems that utilize deep learning neural networks of machine learning create predictions on static and dynamic data. These predictions are allocations or probabilities. For instance, an AI system may state that there is a 94% probability that my face was just presented to this camera. A 95% probability that this file is a malware and a 98% probability that there will be a 7.0 earthquake in six years. These…
